Description

Produced by EMITA in partnership with The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT). To be held at the Primark Distribution Centre, Kettering. This important and timely event should be attended by all organisations involved in international trade (export & import) who have transportation of goods as a critical part of their production & supply chain and who are involved in customs authorisations.

The event will examine the issues in preparing for exit from the European Union, and will continue with a straight talking and practical session on Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certification. It will explore the challenges and highlight the many bottom line benefits from AEO certification. With presentations, case studies and panel discussion it will provide clear guidance on how to move forward. With Brexit looming it asks ‘Can you afford to ignore it?’

We conclude with a presentation from East Midlands Airport through which UK businesses export to 200 different countries around the world. Find out what role the airport can play in further stimulating international trade and what its ambition is for the future.

Drawing on the expertise of speakers, and case studies, including The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Independent Freight Solutions and East Midlands Airport, this is an event not to be missed!
