This event will give you unique airside access to observe the night-time operation up-close.
East Midlands Airport is the UK’s busiest for dedicated freight aircraft. It’s second only to Heathrow in terms of the total tonnage of cargo in a year. Through EMA, goods are transported 200 countries and territories worldwide by major on-site operators which include DHL, UPS, Royal Mail, and TNT/FedEx.
EMA’s cargo success is partly attributed to the fact that the airport is one of very few that has unrestricted night-time flying.
Please remember to bring a valid passport as this will be needed for security.
