The Wheathills story began in the 1820’s, when a Napoleonic prisoner of war was given employment as a natural varnish maker n Derbyshire. That prisoner, Baron Theodore Otto Alexander Heldreich was our ancestor and from this point our family have been tied to luxury craft and art. Nigel Heldreich set up his business in 1985 in Derbyshire, located in Mackworth and employing 10 members of staff.
