Malaysia is the UK’s second largest export market in South East Asia and a UKTI High Growth Market. UK Exports to Malaysia in 2011 were valued at 2.25bn, 14% up on 2010, reflecting the wide range of opportunities for UK businesses.

Thailand has a population of 67m and is the second largest economy in South East Asia GDP growth in 2012 was 6.4% and bilateral trade in goods and services is valued at £5bn.

 

Vietnam has one of the fastest-growing, most vibrant economies in Asia. Over the past decade, economic growth has been second only to China and GDP has been doubling every 10 years since 1986.
